The Brussels Research Open Lab is an initiative that aims to support, develop and implement activities that strengthen the civic mission and societal engagement of both the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). This cross-university cooperation represents a hybrid and multimodal interface between the academic world and our diverse and complex urban fabric. It is a place where new ways of knowledge creation and civic engagement are being tinkered. It aims to facilitate creative and collaborative learning and research communities, working around pressing socio-ecological challenges for developing refreshing synergies and fruitful interactions.
Everyone interested in Community Engaged Research and Learning is welcome to engage in the adventure by joining us during one of our workshops on Friday the 2nd of April from 9am to 14pm. The sessions are multilingual (NL-FR-EN), will not be televised, but some will take place outdoors, others inside (corona-proof)!
